Server license terms

The license

A snug server license lets you run the snug server software for one community at a time. The license does not expire. The released server must activate and periodically validate the license with snug's licensing service. A temporary service outage does not immediately close an already validated server.

You may move the license by installing it on another server. That makes the new installation current and the earlier installation stops after its next successful check or current validation deadline. You may not use the same license for more than one community at once.

What is included

Your purchase includes the server software and any updates snug makes available for this license. It does not include hosting, a domain, backups, setup, or server administration. It does not promise any particular update, feature, release schedule, support level, or compatibility.

Ownership and responsibility

The license gives you permission to use the software. It does not transfer ownership of the software. These terms do not give snug ownership of content stored on your community server. You are responsible for the server and services you choose to run it.

Your rights

These terms do not limit any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
