Member policy

Make space for each other
This policy applies to people using snug, including the iOS and Android apps. You must agree before joining through the mobile app. Follow it and the rules of each snug server you join. The server's admins manage membership and content; they may remove content or restrict an account that breaks these rules.
What you may share
Share content you own or have permission to share. Respect other people's privacy and their choice to stop a conversation. You keep ownership of your content and allow the snug server to store and deliver it to the people who can access the channel.
What is prohibited
- Illegal content or activity, credible threats, harassment, hateful abuse, or encouragement of violence.
- Sexually explicit content, non-consensual intimate images, or sharing private information without permission.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form, including abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or sexual extortion.
- Impersonation, scams, spam, or attempts to evade a person's block or a server's moderation.
Report a concern
In the app, open Settings and choose Send feedback to contact that snug server's admins. Describe the concern and identify the message, channel, and person involved. That report stays on the server and carries your nickname. Admins must review reports promptly and act on content or behavior that violates this policy.
If the concern involves an admin, remains unresolved, or concerns the snug app itself, contact snugchatadmin@gmail.com. Include enough context to locate the problem, such as the snug server address. Do not send passwords, device-link codes, or copies of illegal sexual material. Report an immediate danger to the appropriate emergency service.
The snug team reviews reports sent to that address and takes action within the services it operates. Independent server operators control their own servers. Reports of child sexual abuse or exploitation will be handled in accordance with applicable reporting obligations.
Privacy and changes
The mobile privacy policy explains where your data goes. If this member policy changes, the date above changes with it, and the app links to the current version from Settings, under About. Questions can be sent to snugchatadmin@gmail.com.
